About Forklift Agency in Nottingham

Forklift Agency has been training forklift operators at their own workplaces since 2007. We are a family-owned company, and although we now train across the whole country we have kept the way of working that got us here: a fixed price, an instructor who turns up when promised, and paperwork that is right first time. Nottingham and Nottinghamshire are home ground; our office is a short drive away in Belper, and our instructors are on sites across the county every week.

Why on-site, and only on-site

We do not run a training centre. We think operators learn better on the truck they will actually drive, in the aisles and yards they will actually work in, with the real pallets, racking and pedestrians that make up their day. It also means no travel time, no lost shifts and no minimum numbers: one person at a farm gets the same service as twelve at a distribution centre.

Our instructors

Every instructor working under the Forklift Agency name has been vetted by us, holds a current RTITB, AITT or ITSSAR instructor registration and carries their own public liability insurance. Most have been with us for many years. They train to the accredited-body syllabus and to current HSE guidance, and they keep your supervisors informed of how each candidate is getting on, so there are no surprises on test day.

Shift workers? No problem

Warehouses do not stop at five o'clock and neither do we. Early mornings, nights and weekends are all available at the same price, subject to availability, so training fits around your operation rather than the other way round.

Part of a national provider

Forklift Training Nottingham is the local site of Forklift Agency Ltd, which trains across the UK, and sister to Forklift Training Derby. Forklift Agency merged with AAJ Training, bringing together two long-established instructor teams under one name.
